A little landscaping
Here is Phyllis putting some finishing touches on her bed. It was so good for her to be outside and doing something productive. Her spirits lifted, and she was more active and talkative. Her meds are working too.
Hurray--last chemo treatment!!
Phyllis in one of her cute hats
She has alot of pain (neuropathy) and fatigue with this last chemo drug.
Next, she'll have surgery (on the 13th) and then two weeks later, she starts 7 weeks of daily radiation therapy.
G'ma and I are headed to Colorado on the 12th, for 10 days, to be there for her surgery and recovery.
Her thyroid was biopsied; she has a large mass, but it is benign!! Thank God for all your prayers. This is the first good news so far.
Will keep you posted.

Who'd of Thought...
I took this photo of Louis (John's dad) while he was in the Emergency Room on March 12th, using my cell phone. I then proceeded to forget about it for awhile. When I discovered it, I sent it to my email address. Who would have known that he would die a few hours later that very day?? He looks happy and comfortable. So glad he didn't suffer and that we were all with him.
