While I was out there, we made a list of all the things that were bugging her...that she's been too tired or depressed to do. One of them was some landscaping in her front yard. We hauled these rocks from a pile in her backyard, up a steep incline to surround one of her perennial flowerbeds. First, we tried loading up the wheelbarrow--but after three trips of my pushing it up the hill and having to take three breaks each trip just to catch my breath (the altitude)...we decided to carry the rest of the rocks up.
Here is Phyllis putting some finishing touches on her bed. It was so good for her to be outside and doing something productive. Her spirits lifted, and she was more active and talkative. Her meds are working too.
